Metabolix to Conduct a Webcast of Its Second Quarter 2007 Financial Results

Cambridge, Massachusetts. Metabolix, Inc. (NASDAQ: MBLX), announced today that it will be releasing its second quarter 2007 financial results after the market close on Tuesday, August 7, 2007. The full text of the release will also be available on the Company's website at www.metabolix.com. Jay Kouba, the Company's CEO will host a conference call on the same day at 4:30 p.m. (Eastern).
